Child Based Prevention education

Speak Up Be Safe (SUBS) is an evidence-based primary prevention curriculum aimed at stopping and preventing child abuse. This developmentally appropriate curriculum for Pre-K through 12th grade (ages 4-18) is based on several areas of research including: child development, learning styles, social psychology, and child abuse and neglect prevention. 

• Our Speak Up Be Safe (SUBS) lessons are led by trained facilitators and tailored to each age group. 
• For Pre-K through 2nd grade, lessons are delivered in two 30-minute sessions. 
• Older students complete the program in a single 1.5-hour session. 
• We offer both individual and group sessions, available in person or virtually via Zoom. 
• Each lesson uses interactive discussions, engaging activities, and take-home materials to reinforce learning and encourage open communication with parents and caregivers.
